1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PetPetumMobile ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
2. Description of Service
PetPetumMobile is a mobile application that allows users to manage pet health records, track vaccinations, medications, weight, and expenses, find nearby veterinary clinics, and plan pet nutrition. The App is available in a free tier and a premium subscription tier.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are a minor, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Account Registration
To use cloud sync features you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Premium Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Certain features require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Subscriptions are offered monthly, annually, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective terms.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You may manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store account settings.
- Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- A 7-day free trial may be available. You will not be charged during the trial period.
- Prices may be subject to local taxes and may vary by region.
6. Free Tier and Advertisements
The free tier of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements. Advertisements are subject to Google's privacy and advertising policies. Within the European Economic Area you are asked for consent before personalised ads are served, and you may opt out of personalised advertisements via the in-app consent prompt or your device settings.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Exploit any bugs or vulnerabilities in the App.
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Upload malicious code or content to the App or its services.
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mateusz Sobstyl and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you enter into the App (pet data, photos, etc.). By enabling cloud sync, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to provide the App's services. We do not sell your content to third parties.
The App lets you share a pet with other users (for example a family member or your veterinarian) via email invitation or a QR code / invite link, granting them read-only access limited to the access level you choose. You are solely responsible for deciding whom to invite, and you may revoke access at any time. We are not liable for how users you invite use or further disclose data you have shared with them.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Pet health information provided through the App is for informational and record-keeping purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice. This includes any calculations, suggestions, or analyses the App generates (for example feeding / calorie plans, weight or health charts, blood-test parameter status, breed reference ranges, or condition dashboards) — these are informational estimates only, are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your pet, and must not be relied upon for diagnosis, treatment, dosing, or other medical decisions. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.
Emergencies: The App is not an emergency service. In a medical emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic immediately. Do not rely on the App for urgent or critical care.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Mateusz Sobstyl SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mateusz Sobstyl from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
